If you are one of those people who suffer from insomnia, or waking up throughout the night, try this recipe half an hour before bed. This is also great if you are having any late night cravings.
Take note of how well rested you feel, your dreams, and how quickly you fall asleep. I had this again last night and woke up feeling full of bliss.
1 cup of milk or milk substitute (I prefer rice or almond milk)
1 teaspoon of Ghee or Maple Syrup
Three pinches of Cinnamon
A pinch of turmeric
A pinch of coriander
A pinch of nutmeg
You can also use cardamom, clove or ginger. Just be careful that if you are a Pitta type it isn’t to heating.
Once you have all the ingredients you are ready to go. Place into a small pot on the stove and blend on medium heat! Mixing is a great time to repeat affirmations, so send the magic milk lots of good vibes and sleep well, you have beautiful things to do tomorrow!
