DIY TONER

DIY TONER

Up until last year I was unaware of the saving grace of toner. Toner is great to free the skin of any hidden dirt. To make sure you achieve the ultimate cleanse, it’s best to use after you wash your face. I suggest only using it once a day. I save it for after a sweaty workout or to clear off an extra makeup.

I love being able to make my toner in my home and with the added essential oils it smells terrific! Some people can be sensitive to oils so try it out on a small part of your skin. Otherwise, enjoy this unique homemade toner that has done wonders for my skin.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 Unscented Witch Hazel with Aloe Vera (Thayers natural remedies is my favorite)
  • 1/4 Rose water (Heritage Store)
  • 1/4 Purified Water
  • 8 drops of Lavender
  • 5 drops of Bergamot
  • 2 drops of Geranium
  • 1 empty bottle ( I use a 2 ounce bottle)

Add the essential oils first so that they don’t overflow. Add in the witch hazel, followed by the rosewater¬†¬†and purified water. Seal the bottle and shake with love. I pour a tiny amount on to a cotton round and gentle massage around the face.
